There is something special about getting local property professionals together in one room. Last night’s quiz night was another brilliant example of that.
It was a fantastic evening, full of laughter, friendly competition and great conversation. Events like this are a simple but important reminder that our industry is built on people and relationships, not only property.
A huge thank you goes to Ewelina Deptuch for organising the evening so well. These events take time, effort and plenty of behind the scenes work, and it showed. Everything ran smoothly and the atmosphere was spot on.
A big thank you too to our quizmaster, Steve Dodgson of Rainfords Chartered Surveyors, who did a superb job keeping the night moving and the teams in check. A good quizmaster makes all the difference, and Steve certainly did that.
Congratulations to the winning team Carman Friend as well. A well earned result.
What stood out most was the strength of the community in the room. The Chester property sector has always had a strong sense of connection, and nights like this show why that matters. It is not only about networking. It is about supporting one another, sharing ideas, building trust and enjoying each other’s company away from the usual pace of work.
Better together is more than a nice phrase. It is how strong local industries grow.
